Privacy Policy
KickAdsOut, operated by Keyvan Shahrdar, processes only the information needed to operate, secure, meter, and support its relay service. We do not sell browsing data or use it for advertising profiles.
Information we collect
- Sign in with Apple’s account identifier, an app-generated installation UUID, and a separate internal customer UUID.
- Hashed relay and account credentials. We do not store the plaintext relay secret after it is issued.
- Byte usage, allowance and purchase records, including App Store transaction ID, product, environment, credited bytes, and a cryptographic digest of the signed transaction.
- Limited operational metadata needed for security and reliability, which can include source IP address, destination hostname or IP address, transport outcome, timestamps, and error information.
Relay traffic
The relay necessarily processes eligible network traffic to forward it and apply filtering. The current App Store service does not install a root certificate or decrypt HTTPS content.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate installations, enforce data allowances, validate App Store purchases, block configured advertising or tracking requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain security.
Service providers and retention
Amazon Web Services hosts the relay and account systems. Apple provides sign-in and in-app purchasing. Account and purchase records are retained while needed to provide credits, meet accounting and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Operational logs are retained only as needed for security and troubleshooting. We may preserve records when required by law.
Your choices
You can disable KickAdsOut in the app at any time. To request account deletion or ask a privacy question, email shahrdar@yahoo.com. We may need to retain purchase records required for fraud prevention, accounting, or law.
Security and children
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and encrypted AWS storage. No system is perfectly secure. KickAdsOut is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
